Research and development is the core of Sakaguchi's history. Unceasing endeavor to meet various customers' needs has resulted in launching more than 2,600,000 original products. It is our R&D Center that serves as the technology-intensive foothold. Located in Sakura-city in Chiba near Narita International Airport, our R&D center offers valuable convenience of the hub of both logistics and technology.

Besides meeting customer requirements, R&D Center has achieved remarkable results in research activities in areas of practical technologies such as ultra-high-temperature, ultra-low-temperature, ultra-high-vacuum, and chemical-gas-process. Our endeavor has been recognized by not only private sectors, but also public research institutions such as Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation (PNC), National Institute of Advance Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Japan, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), and so on. We take pride in such collaborative activities with various partners as the vanguard of technology.

Another important mission of R&D Center is putting theoretical simulation of technology to practical use.
